Terms + Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all contracts concluded between Schneid Studio GmbH and consumers via our online shop or through distance selling.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed.

2. Conclusion of Contract

By placing an order in our online shop, you submit a binding offer to purchase the selected products.

After submitting your order, you will receive an automated email confirming receipt of your order. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the contract.

The contract is only concluded once:

• you receive a separate order confirmation from us, or

• the goods are dispatched.

3. Order Process & Contract Text

The ordering process consists of several steps in which you select products, enter your billing and shipping details, choose a payment method and review your order before submitting it.

We store the contract text and send you the order confirmation and these Terms & Conditions by email. You may print or save them for your records.

4. Prices & Taxes

All prices shown in our online shop include German VAT where applicable.

For deliveries outside the European Union, VAT will be deducted at checkout. Import duties, customs fees and local taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Shipping costs are calculated based on destination and chargeable weight and displayed before checkout.

5. Delivery

Orders are shipped from our studio warehouse in Lübeck, Germany.

Unless otherwise stated, orders are dispatched within 5–7 working days after receipt of payment. For made-to-order items, delivery times may vary and will be communicated individually.

Once dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation including a tracking number.

6. Payment

Payment is processed securely via our available payment providers. We reserve the right to exclude certain payment methods in individual cases.

Invoices must be paid within the period stated on the invoice.

7. Retention of Title

All delivered goods remain the property of Schneid Studio GmbH until full payment has been received.

8. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without stating reasons.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify us in writing (e.g. email).

Returned items must be:

• unused

• undamaged

• returned in original packaging

The customer bears the cost of return shipping unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days after receipt of the returned goods using the original payment method.

9. Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• made-to-order or customized products

• bespoke finishes or special colour requests

These items are manufactured specifically for you and cannot be returned unless defective.

10. Warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, minor variations in colour, surface or material are not considered defects.

11. Data Protection

We collect, process and store personal data exclusively in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Personal data is used solely for contract processing, communication and delivery. Payment data is transmitted securely to the relevant payment service providers.

12. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of mandatory protections under the law of their country of residence.

For business customers, the place of jurisdiction is Lübeck, Germany.
